Aluminum Fluxes

RF118 was designed to remove buildup of unwanted oxides and nonmetallic impurities from molten metal baths. Its excellent exothermic action its simple instructions make it quick and easy to use. RF118 also goes through a strong exothermic reaction to release suspended aluminum in the dross.

RF255 is an excellent dross cleaning flux designed for general purpose use in aluminum. RF255 was designed to remove buildup of unwanted oxides and nonmetallic impurities from molten metal baths by going through a strong exothermic reaction to release suspended aluminum in the dross.

SF207 is a sodium free flux designed to remove unwanted oxides and nonmetallic impurities from molten aluminum alloys and unwanted oxide buildup from furnace walls, doors, launder troughs and wells where sodium should be avoided. It's superior formulation, composed of the finest dry chemicals available, gives the best possible results when working with sodium-sensitive alloys. SF207 contains smoke suppressant agents to reduce fuming.

FS270 is a fluoride and sodium free drossing flux. Its good metal cleaning capabilities and fluoride and sodium free formula make it desirable both from an emissions and a metal quality standpoint. FS270 goes through a mild exothermic reaction during the entire fluxing process, which yields low metallic content in the dross.

SF350 is a chlorine replacement injection flux for aluminum alloys. Designed to clean molten aluminum, its chemical properties will remove unwanted hydrogen gas as well as other nonferrous oxide buildups.  SF350 is sodium free, hex free and chloride free.
